Meet Amy
Hi, I’m Amy Mayorga, founder of Minimalista Organizing®.
Before starting Minimalista Organizing®, I worked as a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist. After becoming a mom, I realized that despite spending more time at home, my space no longer felt peaceful. Like many families, our home had slowly become overwhelmed with clutter, and I found myself constantly stressed by the visual noise and daily overwhelm.
Everything changed after reading Marie Kondo’s The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up. Simplifying our home transformed far more than our physical space—it created more peace, clarity, and ease in our everyday life. That experience ultimately inspired a new passion and career path.
In 2019, I became a Certified KonMari® Consultant, trained by Marie Kondo to help others declutter and organize their homes. Since then, Minimalista Organizing® has grown into a full-service professional organizing company serving clients throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
Today, I lead a team of professional organizers who are passionate about creating calm, functional homes that support the lives our clients want to live. We believe organization is about more than aesthetics—it’s about reducing stress, simplifying routines, and helping people focus on what matters most.
A Few Fun Facts About Me
I’m originally from the Chicago area and attended the University of Michigan and Northwestern University.
I’m bilingual in Spanish and love wellness, yoga, and intentional living.
I’m a mom of three wonderful children.
I truly love organizing—even in my free time.
